Cumulative Scores
Posted 6 May 2004 by hermanHere's a quick summary of exam and homework scores.
I've tried to put everything (except the final) into a table, as follows:
pin a b c d e f g h i j k l -- -- --- --- -- -- -- -- -- -- ----- --- -- 86400 56 9 4 16 20 12 25 13 10 109 73 48 71917 97 6 6 17 17 15 40 15 10 126 85 62 29734 67 8 5 17 25 15 50 13 10 143 96 61 31497 78 8.5 2.5 15 25 7 50 7 8 123 83 57 62129 88 9 8 17 25 15 50 13 8 145 98 67 47663 100 8.5 8 17 25 15 50 15 10 148.5 100 70 21698 88 6.5 3 17 0 10 40 15 7 98.5 66 51 11057 75 8 7 17 25 10 40 13 9 129 87 59 59759 89 9 6 15 25 4 50 15 10 134 90 63 48919 88 8.5 8 17 25 15 40 15 10 138.5 93 64 66018 78 3 0 16 20 10 0 10 7 66 44 38 65712 89 9 5 17 25 15 45 5 10 131 88 62 18539 81 8.5 8 17 22 15 50 15 10 145.5 98 65 17151 69 9 6 16 25 12 50 15 8 141 95 61 81789 64 7 3.5 16 24 12 50 13 10 135.5 91 58 44811 39 9 7.5 17 25 5 0 0 0 63.5 43 29 87133 72 8 6 17 17 13 50 15 8 134 90 59 37350 98 8 8 17 25 10 50 13 10 141 95 67 90618 59 8 0.9 0 10 15 45 13 10 101.9 69 46 14628 53 8.5 6 13 0 12 30 6 10 85.5 58 40 53467 82 8.5 3 17 25 6 50 13 9 131.5 89 61 57275 75 8.5 3 17 25 5 50 13 8 129.5 87 59 52624 64 9 8 17 24 10 50 13 8 139 94 60 74057 41 8 5 17 20 10 50 10 9 129 87 52 78805 83 8.5 8 17 25 15 50 15 10 148.5 100 67 87392 93 8.5 4 16 22 12 50 13 10 135.5 91 64 81104 74 9 6 17 25 15 50 13 10 145 98 64 88450 55 8.5 4 16 25 10 50 11 10 134.5 91 57 37723 74 2 0 17 25 12 30 13 10 109 73 51Column (a) is the midterm exam score, columns (b)-(i) are homework scores, with column (j) being the sum of all homework scores; then column (k) multiplies (j) by 0.673401 so that the highest total will be 100, which makes the weighted total have proper percentages (20% for midterm, 30% for final, 50% for homework). Column (l) then is the current weighted total --- everyone has "0" for the final in this table.The distribution of scores from column (l) is shown in this graph: prefin.gif.
